A veritable who’s who of 1960s Hollywood is represented in this rollicking, satiric Western about a boisterous temperance leader (Lee Remick) out to stop a cavalry-protected whiskey shipment from reaching parched Denver miners. Burt Lancaster commands the cavalry but meets his match in Remick. Elmer Bernstein wrote the rousing score for this 1965 comedy narrated by character actor John Dehner.
