A group of ecologists are in a tiny boat exploring the swamps of some unnamed island, trying to prove that the water is being polluted by people. What they discover is that someone is dumping radioactive waste in the muck. They confront the local law (Van Johnson) but he’s in cahoots with the dumping guys, so he won’t help them.
