If I hadn’t been friends with Arabic friends, I would never take a look after the Aladin movies. It would have been a pity because it’s an exotic universe, very far away from western cultures but sharing same spiritual roots.
With this franchise, Disney got a precious jewel: As I have written in my previous reviews, the flavor is guaranteed and the effort of philosophy is sincere: Kids would be addressed with romance truth, human condition and nature preservation. But, the comedy is very boring with the parrot Iago and the Genie, which are pretty irritating.
