A young couple move from Grand Rapids to LA for a job that the husband has taken, and find themselves being dragged into a crowd of swingers that is tearing them apart. Their neighbors, Joanie Tanya, work at a local club so of course, just being new to town, Cliff Mindy want to run down there get tanked. Tanya is a rather interesting character, being that she’s a rather ruthless bar owner does her own “bouncing”, not to mention that she makes house calls as a dominatrix, too, apparently. Anyway, Cliff is highly successful and like all highly successful people he wants to make his life and Mindy’s even more unbearable by consuming vast quantities of booze jumping the neighbor’s bones. And poor Mindy, she’s homesick for Grand Rapids her folks, and she’s boozing it up too. Strangely enough, it’s Tanya that seems to put the brakes on this whole brewing tragedy, and provides a wake-up call for them. This is a minor film in Ted V. Mikel’s filmography, and not really all that good or exciting, but still it’s worth seeing once, at least, if you’re a Mikel’s fan.
