Napoleon lives with his grandfather and his best friend is Samantha. When they meet an aging clown who has a pet lion named Major who wants to return to Europe, they take Major. When his grandfather senses that he is dying, he tells Napoleon. After he dies, Napoleon hires a young man named Danny to help him bury his grandfather. Before leaving Danny asks Napoleon what’s he going to do, he said that before dying his grandfather sent a letter to his uncle asking to take care of Napoleon. Danny tells them that he stays in the mountains in a cabin, and if they need to go see him. When the letter his grandfather sent was sent back, Napoleon decides to go see Danny but because of Major can’t take the bus decides to go through the mountains. Samantha decides to join him as well.
