This is Werner Herzog’s amazing portrait and tribute to Klaus Kinski, made in 1999 (8 years after Kinski’s death). The two men had a love hate relationship starting from when Herzog was a teenager sharing an apartment with ego-maniacal Kinski and then moved on to collaborate on various projects. The film contains a lot of archival footage from the movies they collaborated on (Aguirre, Fitzgarraldo, Nosferatu etc) with commentary by Herzog, as well as interviews with actors about their relationship with Kinski.
