The magic dragon teaches a boy to believe in his own creative abilities.
In my opinion, this is what children’s shows should be all about. Not only is this show entertaining (I loved it as a child), but it teaches a great message about trusting in yourself and not worrying about what others think or say. In the process, children are also taught that an imagination is a great gift that can be used to brighten the world. I would highly recommend this as a great show if you want your children to learn something from the TV. As a side note, if you are looking to purchase this show, it is found on the same DVD as Puff the Magic Dragon (under that name), as well as Puff in the Land of the Living Lies.
