Venice, sixteenth century. Giulio, a foreign man to spend a memorable night in the city where two people he meets and beds beautiful women. They are Angela, a woman widowed, and Valeria, whose husband had left for Florence.
This is an excellent movie, looking set in the late Renaissance Venice, where a young man (Jason Connery, son of Sean) carried a story about sex with an Italian noblewoman old (Laura Antonelli). There is also an "upstairs-downstairs" that occur as a servant of the young man was also with the noblewoman's erotic woman-in-waiting (Monica Guerritori) except that it's literally reverse type. At one point of public servants is upstairs sex in the attic and stop a moment to scout their overall situation and who also have sex "downstairs" on the floor below. And, of course, there is also a scene near the middle of gay and Guerritori Antonelli. In fact, despite the historical setting and the trappings arty, I can not help but suspect that this is really only meant to be a "sexy movie" to show off the body of nubile young and Guerritori body mature but still beautiful Laura Antonelli (with Jason Connery, of course, for women). Nothing wrong with that though I guess.
