December 25, 1985: an unusual family’s Christmas breaks down into madness after a strange uncle who shows up for this holiday. Told primarily through the eyes of Teddy, the youngest son Cooper, through the family's new Christmas present: a hand VHS camcorder Monday.
The Cooper family (Jason Jones and Samantha Bee) accepted a camcorder in 1985 in exchange for $ 2000 a friend (Dave Foley) needed to pay a debt. They filmed the festival, and 25 years later, the tape has been revealed.
This film worked out a few familiar basis … the footage was found of “Blair Witch” or “Cloverfield”, mixed with the humor of the 1980 return, as with the “wedding singer” or “Hot Tub Time Machine” Maybe, magically, Jones (both stars and writers) seem to not repeat the jokes already included in other films.
