As if young Jake Spankenheimer not have enough problems on christmas eve, he had to help mom and dad's cousin Mel means to prevent the spirit from the stores owned by the family. When his grandmother lost in the cold in the middle of the confusion, Jake is sent out to search, her only to discover that she became the victim of an accident and hit-and-run is quite real often, and that santa is real but not quite the sort of guy he was expecting.
