Having just witnessed the death of her husband Jack from an incurable neurological disease, Anne Turner (Julie Walters) is diagnosed almost identical. To determine reasonableness, Anne's answer is that once her illness has reached a critical point, she will take her own life. And she needs to support her children. However, many of her sons and two daughters struggle to achieve consensus on the mother's desire to die, as they struggle to find another way through, continuing to pull them apart. From silent recriminations to the practical aspects of Jessica's stubborn Sophie, the importance of the situation threatens to destroy the family to pieces. Anne also faced the wrath of her best friend Claire have political views that bring them into direct conflict and vocal.
