A double-bill of horror film that recalls favorite exploitation of both filmmakers. "Grindhouse" (a movie theater in downtown apart from its glory days as a palace famous for the film “grinding out” non-stop two-bill programs of B-movies) is features presented as a full-length film consisting of two separate individuals inspired by each director. “Death Proof” is a rip-roaring Slasher movies that the killer pursues his victims with a car rather than a knife, while “Planet Terror” gives us a glimpse of the world in the context of a zombie outbreak. The movies are linked by the false intelligence that recalls the s exploitation drive in classic.
