Evangelista Santos was from the outset scheduled to fight Tarec Saffiedine. Saffiedine but was pulled from engagement and replaced by Paul Daley. However, Santos was forced dead of his fight with Daley because of a shoulder injury. Saffiedine instead confronted Scott Smith. Undefeated welterweight Tyron Woodley joined Santos replaced alongside Daley.
Roger Gracie was from day one scheduled, Muhammed Lawal faces at the event. However, the endeavour for 10th September 2011 at Strike Force transferred 36 after Gracie suffered a training injury.
Ronda Rousey and Sarah D’Alelio were at first scheduled to fight on this card, but her round was later moved to Strikeforce Challengers: Gurgel vs. Duarte.
Lyle Beerbohm was at planned, Gesias Cavalcante face, but was 19th away Bobby Green on Replaced in July 2011.
The fight between Marloes Coenen and Miesha Tate was originally planned to hold for the women’s welterweight belt, but after receiving complaints from Zuffa cloudless all the same weight classes, the battle was to create a bantamweight championship changed
